About This Project

Norway, about 800 A.D. Young Viking Alva is living with their tribe and what is left of their family, and in complete harmony with the Norse spirits and folkloric creatures. One fateful night, in the main hall of the village, the skald (a poet whose role is to remember and retell the people’s stories, called sagas) tells about the legendary battle in Tavastia - in the land of the Finns -, where Alva lost many close ones, and especially her young sibling Ole. Alva knows this story, but this time the skald tells it in a different way, and the thought that Ole might actually be still alive after all, starts haunting Alva…
