Roope Sorvo is an animation student based in Turku, Finland. He is currently studying in Turku Arts Academy and is set to graduate this year.

His 2021 short film DEUCE was selected by several film festivals and received a special mention for outstanding character animation at the Animatricks Film festival.

He is interested in the structures and mythic archetypes of storytelling, and dreams of having his head cryogenically frozen beneath a theme park of his own creations.
